The Archives repository is located in the old Village of Clinton vault under Clinton’s Memorial Hall. This fire proof 12 X 16 foot concrete vault is equipped with an eight hundred pound bank vault door. The Museum leases the vault from the Village of Clinton for a nominal fee. In 2015, Museum volunteers cleaned the vault out, and coated the interior with mould/fungus resistant coating. Genuine WWII vintage military grade shelving was obtained from Canada Post. After hundreds of hours of prep work, archival materials, from the Museum, and the Village office basement, were moved into the vault. Cataloging, indexing and digitization work continues. .
